HE DID IT FOR YOU
“And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”

If you ever start to feel that nobody loves you or cares about you, just remember that Jesus died for you. He suffered all that excruciating pain on a cross of horror and shame for you. Yes, He did it for you. Not only did He die for you, He also forgave you from the old rugged cross.
There is nobody who loves you like Jesus loves you. It doesn’t matter what you have done or what you will do, He will love you for eternity. You may break His heart every day and bring shame to Him but He will still love you. Not only does Jesus give love, He is love, unconditional love.
We read in the Bible “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee” (Jeremiah 31:3). Yes, lonely missionary, He loves you. He loves you dear pastor and He appreciates your service to Him.
Jesus, thank You for dying for our sins and for loving us unconditionally. How it encourages my heart to know that You will love me for all eternity. What a privilege it is to be loved by You, the Saviour of the world. I love You, dear Saviour, with all of my heart. Amen.
