Poem for Today

My World
Glass roads and blue trees,
shapeless void to me unfurled;
dreams and shadows cast
black and grey in my world.

Rivers rise from nowhere,
going nowhere, going nowhere;
waterfalls are but tears
wept by man, going nowhere.

Glass slipper, lace of gold,
brings realisation of growing old;
and still a shapeless void
going nowhere - going nowhere.

No sunshine yet no rain
only agony, feeling pain.
Dreams are made to stay
in my world - another day.
