Poem for Today

Peace

You grant me Your peace Lord,

In the quiet of prayer;

You teach me Your ways Lord,

When Your voice I hear.

As I kneel before You,

With my head bowed down low,

You show me the way Lord,

You want me to go.

When I seek forgiveness,

Then Your mercy will flow,

Renewing, redeeming,

As only You know.

Secure in Your presence,

May the world round me cease,

Lord grant me forever

The blessings of peace.
