Poem for Today

Car Care

Magnificent multitudes of multi-purpose magnitude,
Salubriously lubricating every kind of joint;
Perpetual pomposity pining for pernicious posterity,
Occasioning the garage-man with oil to anoint.
Windscreen washer watching wiper wildly wiping,
Whilst garage-man fills up the tank with ninety-nine;
Devastatingly daring, doubly death-defying,
As the key turns the circle, rotor blades to start;
Rapidly revolving round reincarnated rubbers,
Garage-man is turning, fear in his heart!

This is just a taste of things to come in time,
So far this car’s not left the great assembly line!
