WALKING AND TALKING WITH JESUS
“And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?”
 Luke 24:32 (King James Version)
Pastor William Appel wrote the hymn “Walking and Talking with Jesus”.  “You may walk with Him today! Believe it, weary soul; He will cause your heart to burn; His words will make you whole; With the smile of His dear face; He will cheer you on the way; Safely He will guide and lead you on from day to day.”
We don’t have to walk through this life by ourselves.  All we have to do is reach out and take the hand of Jesus.  He will take our hand and walk with us through the dark valleys as well as walking with us on the mountain tops of happiness.  He not only is our Saviour, He is also our faithful friend and guide.
If you feel alone, just remember that Jesus is with you.  He will walk with you and talk with you and guide and lead you every day if you will let Him.  Are you walking and talking with Jesus or are you trying to make it by yourself?  It is impossible to make it through this life without Jesus.
Did you take time to talk to Jesus today?  He is waiting for you to talk to Him.  Why is it that we can make time to do the things we want to do and for everyone else but we don’t have time to talk to Jesus?   How we must hurt Him and break His heart.
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so much that You sent Your beloved Son into the world to be our Saviour, our guide and our friend.  Jesus, thank You for walking and talking with us.  You are such a faithful friend and guide.  I love You so much.  You are the joy of my heart.  Amen.
