Meditation & Inspiration

It's always good to spend time meditating on the words of Holy Scripture. The Bible is an endless source of inspiration which will grant you the benefit of learning more about yourself as you learn more about God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, the Three-in-One.

Jesus Christ is the only way to reach God the Father. We read a confirmation of that fact in the gospel of John:
"I am the  way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (NAS).
'I am the Way'
Jesus is the way that God the Father has appointed as a means of redemption and salvation. He is our guide to the pattern of living that is acceptable to God. His death on the cross was the ransom price paid for the sins of mankind, and it is by believing on Jesus, repenting of our sins and accepting Him for all that He has done, that we receive the gift of salvation. Salvation cannot be earned, neither can it be purchased. It is a free gift for all who make the choice to believe in Jesus as the Christ and accept Him both as Saviour and Lord.
'I am the Truth'
Jesus is the source and origin of all truth. Truth represents things as they are. The life, the purity, and the teaching of Jesus Christ was the most complete and perfect representation of the things of the eternal world that has been or can be presented to man. The opinions of men are as nothing more than fanciful notions when compared with the doctrines of Jesus Christ. We are taught in John's gospel that Jesus existed before time, and that nothing has existed that He did not bring into existence. Mankind has truth, but only in as much as he sees it in relation to himself, whilst Jesus has absolute truth, being a true representation of God's will for the whole of His creation.
'I am the Life'
John 1:4 tells us,  'In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.'
Jesus is the Life, both in grace and glory; the life that not only saves from death, but destroys it. Our earthly life is a transient thing. Jesus grants us the gift of the hope of eternal life spent in His presence. He is the only mediator between God and mankind. We can only be forgiven of our sins by Him, and it is only those who acknowledge Him and accept Him who can receive the gift of life through Him. Because God has appointed Jesus as the Mediator, and has ordained that all blessings shall descend to this world through Him, the world is given over to His control. God has given the affairs of mankind into His hand, appointing Him to dispense whatever may be necessary for our peace, forgiveness, and salvation.
