Search me O Lord, for only You

Can truly know my heart;

Search me O Lord, and cleanse me now,

Renewing ev’ry part.

For there is nowhere I can go

Where I can hide from You;

Rescue me from all evil ways,

Restore me as You do.

Keep me O Lord from wicked hands,

That try to lead astray;

Keep my feet firm upon the path;

The straight and narrow way.

Keep me O Lord from cruel snares,

From cords that seek to bind;

For when You come once more for us,

I would not stay behind!
