The Safest Harbour

Our world is so often rocked by storms these days. There is a great shaking going on that will bring about a complete change in the way that we live. Already we are witnessing dramatic change, not only from the series of natural disasters such as the recent earthquakes in New Zealand and the flooding and cyclone in Australia, but in many other parts of the world as well. Add to this the political unrest in the Middle East,the overthrow of Mubarak's regime in Egypt, the challenge to nations like Bahrain and Libya, the continuing financial instability, the lawlessness in the Western world, and much more, and you see evidence of this great shaking all around you.


We are like ships being tossed around on the open seas amongst all these storms, and we need to find a safe harbour where we can drop anchor and moor up. There is only one safe harbour that will afford us all the protection from the storms that we could ever need, and that is when we turn to Jesus Christ, repent of our sins and accept him as Saviour and acknowledge Him as Lord. He is the only truly safe harbour.
