A BEAUTIFUL SCENE
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Philippians 2:9-11 (King James Version)
Someone said "As I was driving down the road, I saw a scene that was so beautiful that I wanted to park the car and stay there forever". One day every person will kneel at the feet of Jesus. Not only is it going to be a beautiful scene, it will be the most beautiful scene we have ever seen.
If you will look with the eyes of your heart, you will see every person kneeling and hear every tongue confess that our precious Saviour is indeed Lord! When Jesus comes back for us, He is not just coming to visit us. He is coming to take us home to Heaven and we will live with Him forever.
There is another scene and it brings happiness to our Heavenly Father and that is when He sees us kneeling in prayer. However, just bowing our knee is not enough. We must also bow our heart in prayer. When we pray, we should pray from our heart as we give praise and thanks to God for all that He does for us.
Heavenly Father, we thank You and praise You for all that You have done for us and for all that You do for us every day. I know that it brings You joy and happiness to know that one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Your Son is Lord. On that day, He will get the honour He so richly deserves. Amen.
