Jesus Christ came down to save,

Vanquished death and beat the grave;

We’re no more to sin a slave.

Jesus heard our humble plea,

“Loving Saviour, rescue me.”

Now from sin He’s set us free.

Blesséd Saviour, God’s own Son,

Who for us the battle won;

Now His work on earth is done.

To His feet our gifts we bring,

Joyful songs of praise we sing,

Giving glory to our King.
