It is likely that the 'independent abortion counselling' amendment will be debated either tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 6th September) or on Wednesday 7th September.

The amendment has been laid by Nadine Dorries MP and Rt Hon. Frank Field MP to ensure that a woman considering an abortion is offered independent counselling from a provider who has no vested financial interest in the outcome of their decision.
