A CLEAN
HEART
“Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot
save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between
you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not
hear.”

Our Heavenly Father
is a Holy God and He cannot look on sin.
Just as He couldn’t look at Jesus when He was on the cross bearing our
sins so God can’t look at us when we have sin in our heart. It is a privilege to be able to go into the
presence of God and we need to go with a humble and contrite
heart.
Heavenly Father,
please forgive us for the times when we don’t come to You with a humble and
contrite heart. May we never forget that
You are a Holy God and that it is a privilege to come into Your presence. We ask that You would cleanse our heart of
all sins and give us a clean heart.
