The wonder of creation in all of its glory!

A reminder of Spring.
Feeling a little blue? A walk through a bluebell wood will bring joy into your life once more!
There is nothing like a walk in the forest to help you refocus your life.
Half-way through August already, and soon it will be September --- a time of mist and mellow fruitfulness.
There is something magical about sunset reflections on water, as this picture shows so well.
Florida Keys, and the setting sun displays God's creative beauty perfectly.
What a wonderful world we are blessed with!

Beautiful Sunset

There is so much beauty in the night sky, especially as the sun is setting. Here we have the added advantage of the reflections in the water, doubling the pleasure.

Peaceful Serenity in Nature

Peace and serenity are found in many ways, but no more so than in the quiet places where the beauty of Nature is rolled out before and about us.
There is something about the sea, whether it's the power that it can muster or the calm that it can portray. Either way, there is something about the sea that brings a sense of peace or a sense of excitement, or sometimes both in the same breath.
The un-trodden road when it has snowed is one which never fails to bring a sense of peace and serenity into my life. How I long to make my footsteps the first on this scene, and yet how I long also for it to remain undisturbed!

Some of the World's Beautiful Places

Here is my choice for the most beautiful places on Earth. I would love to spend time in any of them and soak up the atmosphere and marvel at the sheer beauty of it all. Through these places I would worship God, praising Him for His staggeringly beautiful creation, and marvelling at the way that man can work with Him side by side.

Beautiful pictures depict God's creative glory.

One day our journey through life will take us on the last part of our journey towards the Light. We'll walk on a pathway where the colours are brighter and the images sharper than anything that we've ever known before, until we finally reach our goal and meet with Jesus face-to-face.
When Fanny Crosby, blind since a tiny baby, though not from birth, was asked on her deathbed whether she regretted her loss of sight, she simply replied that she didn't because it meant that the first face she would ever see would be that of Jesus.
What faith! Oh, that ours might be as strong!

Adrift in a sea of blue,
Washed by the showers of rain;
Alone with my thoughts and dreams,
At peace with the world again.

Here is a Really BEAUTIFUL Picture!

This is such a beautiful picture that any words that I might add would be superfluous.

Beautiful beaches where I would love to be today!

This morning, with the weather forecasters promising rain and the temperature dropping enough to make you feel the chill, my thoughts turn to holidays and beautiful beaches to chill out on the golden sand. Throw in a palm tree or two, clear blue waters, maybe a boat, and the opportunity to be with those you love the most just soaking up the sun and the peaceful atmosphere.

Beautiful Places --- Beautiful Moods

Here's a fresh batch of beautiful photographs, all of which were taken by my niece, Tequin Gordon-Farleigh, who proves that she has a good eye for the beauty that surrounds us.

The beauty of Lake Louise in the Southern Rockies

These photographs are of Lake Louise, which is situated in Banff National Park, in the southern Rocky Mountains in Canada.  Lake Louise was previously known as Emerald, now it has been changed to Lake Louise in honour of Princess Louise – daughter of Queen Victoria and wife of Canadian Governor-General of the colonies of Great Britain. You can find more fabulous photos by visiting here to find 'The Big Picture'.
