What a year it's been for my songs and for the Sheer Joy Music label so far! Since the first week in March we have had songs in the NCM Charts every single week, often having two songs in the Charts at the same time. Jennifer Douglas charted at #3 in the NCM UK Charts and #5 in the NCM Euro Charts with If Only I Had Wings, and Susan Marrs zoomed up to #2 at the beginning of September with When I'm With You. Cantoris charted at #7 with I Thank You, Lord, and today I learned that Standing Room Only in Heaven, sung by Charlotte Kerce, which was only released on the NCM Promo CD yesterday, has gone into the NCM Country Charts at #9 and the Euro Charts at #17.
Now that's a whole bunch of great news for Greg Scheer and myself who have composed the music and lyrics in respective order!
Darren Mullan is currently recording a great crossover/Country song called Forever Friend, and I anticipate making great wave in the charts with it once it's finally released early in the new year.
