TUNE: Dim Ond Iesu
Like a vast and mighty river,
God’s love flowing down to earth;
All His mercy and forgiveness
Are defined by royal birth.
It was in that lowly stable,
On that starlit, holy night,
God came down to earth from Heaven,
Setting all the world to right.
Jesus came to bring salvation,
Came to free mankind from sin;
Came to point the way to heaven,
Came to help us enter in.
And His love is everlasting,
Thus it is, will ever be;
He has won for us vast riches
Over death at Calvary.
