I'm currently reading: 'Drawing Strength from the Right Sources'

A week or so ago I received a surprise gift from Chris Goppert, an old friend of mine from my time in Zimbabwe. Chris is with the TEAM mission over there, and has served in Zimbabwe since 1973. The chunky envelope that arrived unexpectedly was a copy of Chris' book Drawing Strength from the Right Sources. 


This is a devotional book which greatly enriches the reader, and Chris draws effective Biblical answers for the many trials faced serving in Zimbabwe during a period in that country's history that has been filled with the violence of war, strife and deprivation. In sharing the answers that he found to the many day-to-day problems of simply living and ministering to the needs of others, Chris has provided a valuable resource that will help anyone in coming to terms with their daily lives, no matter how hard the struggle seems to be on occasion.
