The Day of Purity is a Project of Liberty Counsel www.lc.org working with various supporters here in the UK  ’The Day of Purity’ on February 14th 2011 is a day when youth can make a public demonstration of their commitment to remain sexually pure, in mind and actions. Today’s culture encourages youth to become sexually active at a young age and to experiment with sexual preferences.

The Day of Purity offers those who strive for sexual purity an opportunity to stand together in opposition to a culture of moral decline. When you stand up for sexual purity you send a message to parents, churches, communities, legislators, and the media that you want a better world.

Now is the time to let your voices be heard. Be part of the “counter-culture” – - be politically incorrect. It’s time for a change. You can make a difference.

Matthew 5:8 (Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God)  The psalmist David knew this when he prayed, as recorded in the 51^st Psalm v10,  “Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me”.

BACKS DAY OF PURITY

I am launching this website to encourage and challenge you to take practical steps to fight not only for our youth’s future, but for our country.  I was a rocket- firing Beaufighter pilot  during World War II, against the Nazi onslaught dedicated to destroy civilisation.  Today there is a warfare not  of guns and planes,  but of words and philosophy to destroy our civilisation.

In the early 70’s I was challenged by our Lord to be involved in launching a National – indeed International outcry against the the darkness of depravity. “The Festival of Light“

With the Trumpet call of Love, Purity and Family life, the Nationwide Festival of Light (Nfol) managed to mobilise tens of thousands of people throughout Britain for public rallies, torchlight processions and meetings throughout Britain. Tens of thousands participated in  public rallies and meetings across the UK.

The permissive 60′s pierced our Christian heritage. Today the situation is far more serious, perversion is rampant and even Christian consciences have been seared with compromise.  I urge you all to take up the baton and fight the good fight of faith and stand up to prevent our Nation collapsing.
