Picture Jesus in the manger,
Dream of love and royal birth.
Children sleeping in their cradles,
All is silent on the earth.
All await the coming morning,
And the joy that it will bring;
They will open up their presents,
And remember Christ the King.
He is gentle, just a baby,
Softly sleeping in the hay;
Kings and shepherds, beasts and wise men,
Worship Christ in manger lay.
Children waking, joyful singing,
Greets this special holy day;
Concert voices raised together,
As we praise our Lord today.
