Regular readers to this Blog will no doubt be familiar that I rate the Hayley Oliver Band right up there alongside the top Country groups. Hayley Oliver I rate alongside the greatest Country singers such as Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton, and am never afraid to stick my neck out and label her the UK Queen of Country. I have no doubt that both she and the band will make it in a very big way before too long.
Hot news about the band is that they will be in Nashville, Tennessee from this Saturday (6th November) until the 12th, having been invited to play at the 'Loveless Cafe' on November 9th, as part of an international country show hosted by WSM Radio and CMR Nashville. So if you live anywhere within travelling distance of the 'Loveless Cafe' why not go along and hear the Band for yourself. One thing I guarantee --- you won't be sorry!!!
Earlier this year The Hayley Oliver Band slid into the number 1 position on the Hotdisc charts to make it three chart toppers out of three releases for the band, who have now become the most successful British act ever to appear on Hotdisc. No other UK act has managed three number ones in the main Top 40.
It's an incredible achievement for the blind singer who has only really been on the scene for just over a year with her band.
