This blest day is ending,
Now, as night falls nigh,
Sleep is fast approaching,
Shadows cross the sky.

I am Yours tonight, Lord,Publish Post
Me in safety keep,
Saviour, bide with me now,
Whilst this night I sleep.

Though the dark falls o’er me,
Not one passing hour
Can bring fear or trembling;
Naught can stay Your pow’r.

With Your cross before me,
In the night or day,
I ask now, Lord Jesus,
Keep me safe, I pray.
