By Faith
Be sure of what you hope for,
certain of the unseen,
a knowledge of the Saviour,
to know what true faith means.
Read of men of days of old
who kept a faith so strong;
of Enoch and of Abraham,
who did to God belong.
When God sent out a warning
to Noah in those days,
in faith he built the ark,
to follow in God’s ways.
Abraham went when called
to a place he did not know;
trusting God, he went in faith,
where God told him to go.
We can learn from men of faith,
and follow in their way;
And our faith will grow in us
Stronger every day.
