Human Rights

Now here's a thought ...
Isn't it high time that the European Community started to publish a Bill of Human Responsibilities rather than isolating matters with a Bill of Human Rights? After all, you cannot expect to have Rights without Responsibilities.

There is much talk about the Rights of those who do wrong, yet little talk about the wrongs that are done to those whose Rights have been violated.

At this present time the EU Courts have ruled that people on the Sex Offenders Register should have the Right of Appeal to be removed from it after a time has passed. Well, certainly experience has proven in the past, that those who abuse children or who rape woman do not change. It has also proved that they are very clever at getting some folk to believe that they have changed.

I guess the thing is this ... Would any of those people who believe that this Right of Appeal for predatory sex offenders should stand be prepared to hand over their child to one of these 'changed and rehabilitated' paedophiles, or would they mind their daughter dating a man who has won the right of appeal after having raped several women in the past?
