I come to You in Jesus’ name,
Proclaiming Him Your Son.
Grant me forgiveness, O my God,
For all that I have done.
For every law of Yours I break,
Each time that I offend,
Lays yet another stripe on Him
Who for my sin did fend.
For every time that I do wrong
He suffers yet again;
And, though no fault in Him is found,
I know I’ve caused him pain.
So now, repentant, Lord I come,
And at Your feet I bow;
Forgive me Lord, for all my sins,
Forgive and cleanse me now.
