A Thought of Thanks
Picture now the firelight glow;
outside is crisp and white with snow.
Picture now a smiling face,
looking down on fireplace;
thinking back upon the past,
of yesterdays that did not last.
Yet, full sublime with Christmas cheer,
I think the whole world's peace is here.
