WE LOVE YOU
"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
Matthew 22:37 (King James Version)
Can we honestly say that we love the Lord our God with all of our heart, with all of our soul, and with all of our mind? Each one of us needs to search his or heart and answer this question. We can fool others but we can't fool Him. He sees into our heart and He knows if we really do love Him.
We read in the Bible "I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me" (Exodus 20:2,3). There are times when we put things before Him such as television, sports and people. When we do this, we sin and we hurt Him.
Heavenly Father, we're sorry that we have hurt You. Please have mercy on us and forgive us for putting people and things before You. Father, I pray that when You look into our heart that You will see things that make You happy instead of things that hurt You and make You sad. Amen.
