      Christians pray for Revival, but are they really prepared for it if God sends His reviving Spirit down? It's only when you understand that being a follower of Christ means following Him wherever He leads you, and that means following Him even unto death.
      If you think that being a Christian just means 'being a good person', attending Bible Study once a week and joining the worship service on a Sunday morning, then you are greatly misguided. No! Being a Christian means living Christ's way, praying for God's guidance in your life and doing what He asks of you --- without question and without faltering. 
      When you first come to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and acknowledge Him as your Lord the transformation turns you into a new tool for God to use.  Any artisan will tell you that if new tools are never used then eventually the edge goes off them and they need to be honed to perfection once more before use. Leave them altogether and eventually they will be of no use at all. If we are to be of use to God then we need to ensure that we are always ready to be used, honed to perfection by the Word of God and alert through the Holy Spirit's guidance and prompting.
      Do pray for Revival! Pray that you might be revived and that through your own reviving you might be used by God to be instrumental in reviving others. But be prepared for whatever God asks of you in answer to your prayer!
